We are looking for a Communications Executive and Online Community Manager to join our Communications Department.
If you’re a recent graduate (2007 onwards) in Marketing, Communications or Public Relations and have at least 12 months experience of working in an office environment, then perhaps you’re the one that we’re looking for.
This is an ideal role for a qualified professional at an early stage in their career.
The focus of this role will be on marketing, promoting and communicating what we’re doing – this means telling the world about all the events, services and opportunities that we provide throughout the year. You can find out all about us at www.templebar.ie
The salary offered is Euro30,000 per annum. We also support a private contributory pension scheme and a group health insurance scheme.

The Crescent Arts Centre has undertaken a £7.2 million redevelopment of its buildings, funded by Department of Culture, Arts and Leisure, Arts Council of Northern Ireland, Heritage Lottery Fund, Northern Ireland Environment Agency – and the numerous kind donations from individual supporters.
As part of this redevelopment the Crescent Arts Centre wishes to commission an artist or artists to create a piece or pieces of art for what is a landmark building. This artwork is likely to consist of independent, stand-alone pieces.

Call for Artists: ‘Fair Play for Everyone! Fairtrade Education through Ethnic Arts in Schools’
Fairtrade is all about local sustainability and fair terms of trading for farmers in the developing worlds. Fairtrade Education aims to create awareness of how we as local consumers can better the lives of producers all over the world.
ArtsEkta has recently been awarded with funding by the Department for International Development (DIFID) to deliver an artistic educational programme looking at the issue of Fair Trade, in schools in Northern Ireland.
ArtsEkta is seeking for artists who can demonstrate experience in community arts and have an interest in developing a project that will explore Fair Trade by the medium of arts.
The programme involves a 3 days free training for artists delivered by a team of selected facilitators who are experts on the field of Fairtrade. This training will take place on the week of the 11th of October (dates tbc); follow by a session on ‘project realization’ to support your personal project. Then, each artist will be allocated to work in a school to deliver the project. Some of the issues covered by the training are: o Fair Trade from a producer’s perspective. o Social Responsibility: Fair Trade social realities. o Fair Trade in Northern Ireland. o Fair Trade in the NI school curricula o Arts Project Realization (facilitated by Arts For Everyone)
Submissions from artists working in all media though and arts forms welcomed. They encourage submissions from both emerging and established artists.
Interested artists should submit a current CV, statement and a minimum of 2 images of recent work. Submissions should be preferably be emailed to Paula Guzzanti or posted to ArtsEkta (marked for the attention of the Fair Trade Project Coordinator).
The training is also opened to people who are interested in Fair Trade to a cost of £35 for participating.

In one of Dublin's most astounding and historic locations, The National Museum of Ireland at Collins Barracks, this outdoor event will involve more than 100 performers and thousands of spectators. After a twelve year absence, Macnas return to Dublin for this epic visual feast.
Want to get involved? Macnas rely on community participation for all their events; from performers to stage managers, everyone is a volunteer. ABSOLUT Fringe and Macnas are looking for experienced practitioners in the event arena to fill stage manager, stewarding and performance roles. The new Participation, Engagement & Skills Project (PESP) is a unique, hands-on project, built on solid partnership and collaborative working. About the Opportunity: Culture Night Belfast is at this large scale, multi faceted, multi venue arts and cultural event taking place on Friday 24th September in the Cathedral Quarter and other areas of Belfast. Over 100 organisations programme free, family friendly arts and cultural events and streets are animated with music, theatre, projections and more.
Volunteers perform a vital role as the public face of Culture Night Belfast, ensuring that visitors to the event have a positive and enjoyable experience.
Volunteer roles at Culture Night include acting as information points at designated positions within the Cathedral Quarter, giving out brochures, event details, directions and advice to visitors to Culture Night. Other volunteering opportunities include Event Crew, Street Teams, Research Teams and Tour Guide Assistants, who will be responsible for tasks such as erecting event signage, moving tables & chairs, completing visitor surveys and helping out with other tasks throughout the evening.
